Ampeg
Ampeg Cabinets Amps For sale
While Ampeg had long been making a name for itself as a maker of amplifiers and a variety of basses, it wasn't until 1960 that guitars bearing the Ampeg name were distributed (these guitars were actually made by Burns). Ampeg later made the Dan Armstrong guitars from 1969-1971, and in the 1970s, Ampeg released the Stud, Heavy Stud, and Super Stud electric guitars, most of which were Ampeg versions of popular Fenders and Gibsons, with some modifications to the strength and body of the instrument.
Some famous Ampeg players include Gene Simmons, Roger Waters, and Keith Richards.
