The Mating Call
Bronze or Hydrostone. Height 10 inches.
This piece resembles a bloated spring frog singing for a mate and/or a Buddha. It's about the spiritual and the physical united (if you care to get lofty about it). It is mostly whimsy with a touch of profundity. My initial intent was to do a saxophonist as close to a simple egg shape as possible.
