This is a fantastic example of Bob’s very earliest (serial # 2078) & very best guitars, this Cremona was specially made for my old friend, Bobby Whitlock of Ft.Lauderdale, one of The Guitar Brokers 1st customers & one of Bob’s 1st clients to believe in his talents, Bobby ordered it in this beautiful light Cherry Sunburst finish over a wonderful 3 piece “Bearclaw” Spruce top having a very rare set of extra large “F” Holes for better acoustic volume (I remember like it was yesterday when Bob talked about this new idea & produced maybe 2-3 guitars ever having them), Bob’s wife Cindy realized a traditional Gibson style guitar would be far more marketable so he stuck with her gut instinct making this Cremona oh-so rare & very desirable, its fiddleback maple back & sides are outstanding, its 5 piece multi laminated maple & walnut neck is super playable & comfortable, its figured headstock, ebony fingerboard, pickgard & tailpiece are covered in gorgeous abalone inlays that only Bob’s top of the line Cremona deserve to be adorned with, the vintage photo is actually Bobby Whitlock playing this guitar in 1978 at Bob’s Homosassa Springs, Florida workshop, having only slight pick wear & a bit of normal play time, she is still in exceptionally clean all original condition, she comes with a generic Hard case.
