This the lil' buddy the follow up to my tweed amps is based on a design I've heard referred to as a Vox if a Vox had a more switch . Characteristically this amp has really great clean headroom you will really have to crank it to overdrive it but when you do the rewards are just . I've stuck with the class-A single ended 5 watt concept just with a very different flavor that the previous tweeds and as always the amp in fully handwired on a eyelet board just like those vintage amps you here everyone rave about ! The amp itself run's on a single EL84 tube and single Ruby 12AX7 preamp tube and a solid state rectifier and 12" celestion rocket 50 speaker .
