Collings / D-2H / 2013 / Guitar For Sale
Collings D-2H Herringbone, Sitka Spruce-Rosewood, Case, new Collings D-2H with custom wide neck. The Dreadnoughts from "Austin Texas" are famous for their huge tone and great presence, and therefore likely not around the shop that long. This guitar has many of the great options that make them so enjoyable to play: Of course the Selected Indian Rosewood - premium Sitka Spruce combination that makes the sound less 'pointy' and more mellow, but since Sitka is combined to Indian rosewood, very rich and dynamically more complex compared to a D1 with mahogany back and sides. The scalloped bracings, a nice in between 44.5mm width at the nut (1 3/4") 56.1mm fingerspacing at the bridge, 650mm (25.5")scale length. Waverly open-back tuners; Bone nut and saddle, Ebony bridge pins and end pin, traditional wooden herringbone purfling, the multiple ivoroid/black/ivoroid purfling around the soundhole, ivoroid binding, the 'dark as the night' Ebony fingerboard and bridge and on top of all that perfection, both in detailing and tone/feel! Includes Collings Geib Hardshell-case. Includes 21% BTW(MwSt/VAT) and limited lifetime Warranty.
