Cuntz / BodyNeck - Weissenborn / High Gloss Or Matte / Guitar For Sale
Our BodyNeck Models strongly resemble the original Weissenborns from the 1920´s.
Due to modified bracing, we reinforced the weaknesses the originals had:
the caving-in of the top and the dead spots above the 12th fret.
David Lindley: "As loud as a Dobro, but as warm as an old Weissenborn- Just great Andreas !" (Backstage before a concert , 13th March 2003).
Gitarre & Bass Magazine Test in their edition from January 2005 (BodyNeck Maple Version) (translated): "...this instrument definitely has what lapsteel players demand : punch(...) due to the perfect sound spectrum in an acoustic ensemble with guitar, ukelele or bass, this instrument cuts through the mix. (...) one can get that sound, as David Linley would call it ...´larger than life´. …".
Models: Different headstock forms are available (traditional headstock, slotted headstock, "Cuntz"-headstock) as well as a variety of bridge forms and bindings.

Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard Bone nut and saddle
Optional pickups: Fishman Rare-Earth, Schatten, B-Band.
