When looking for something original to add to our DeRailer collection I finally decided on a hardtail strat type for a few simple reasons first of all how many of us have bought a strat or similar style instrument and never really ever used the trem at all ' I think a fair few people can identify with what I'm saying here " that combined with the added sustain and warm body tone from the mahogany bodies on these guitars created by the string through body design of the hardtail bridge and of course when I searched for anyone making hardtails at anywhere near an affordable price I came up completely empty , so with that all taken into consideration the hardtail seemed more and more like the right choice for our entry level st models ' As with all our Derailer guitars this one features a two piece mahogany body , real bone top nut , ALPHA pots and electronics our own custom pickups and of course that indecernable DeRailer quality and value for money , these hardtails come with classic staggered alnico pcikups a large selection of colors and options as well as choice of maple or rosewood fretboards ' sure to be a real work horse "
