The PC-2A compressor is one of the best sounding stompbox-sized compressors currently on the market. Featuring a full analogue signal path based on a NOS Philips 6111 subminiature tube that runs on full voltage and a photo-optical compression circuitry loosely based on the legendary Teletronix LA-2A Leveling Amplifier, it doesn’t get much better than this. Whether used as a tube preamp only, in a subtle manner or as a very squishy peak limiter, this pedal will add warmth and fullness to any sound source.
The pedal has a remarkably low noisefloor which is very helpful when combined with overdrive/distortion from a pedal or amp. Also noteworthy are the added trimpots under the hood for attack and knee, which add to the versatility and enable fine-tuning the pedal to your own taste or specific application.
This pedal with serial number 1121 is used but in near-mint condition. It is sold including the original worldwide usable powersupply (100-240V/12VDC), manual and box.
