Player's Perspective Music Store Live is proud to present this Fender '59 Bassman LTD! This reissued classic is all you need to wail your blues away. These amps have dug their way deep into our hearts and souls over the years and there is a good reason why : this is one of the BEST amps to simply plug into, crank it up and rip on. They don't need much else but to be turned on ( though they do a great job taking pedals in front of them ). Blues and Rock players will rejoice at the rhythm guitar fatness the '59 Bassman puts out as well as the sweet singing lead tones this beast can bestow. This is truly a wonderful recreation of a timeless classic. Item Details 50 watts of pure rock and roll. Running 2 X 6L6 power tubes, 3 x 12AX7s and a 5AR4 tube rectifier, this tweed covered behemoth comes loaded with 4 Jensen 10" P-10R speakers with alnico magnets. The simple layout of the controls lets you set it and forget it - Presence, Middle, Bass, Treble, Volume (Bright Channel), Volume (Normal Channel). With classic features like a dog bone handle, solid finger jointed pine cabinet, chicken head knobs and a red jewel light, this vintage recreation looks just as good as one from 50 years ago. Too cool! Fender says : In early 1952, the Fender Bassman amplified a great new invention - the Fender Precision Bass guitar. At 50 watts, it competed easily with the common instrumentation of the day: horns, piano, small drum kit, and maybe even an electric guitar through a new 10-watt amp.
