Player's Perspective Music Store Live is proud to present this 1966 Fender Jaguar! This luminous soul machine invites you to dig deeper into your playing and listen harder than you have before. The tone of this guitar throws your ears so far down the vintage rabbit hole you'll probably only put it down for the bare essentials for the first few days you have it - food, water, restringing. We've ensured it's set up very well and ready to rock for you. The neck is straight, the action is low and the intonation is on the money. She plays in tune up and down the neck, which is uber comfortable and quite fast, and the body feel is pure magic. We could rant and rave all day about this pretty little guitar. Give a listen for yourself. Item Details This 1966 Fender Jaguar is all original with the exception of .......... 3 tiny little saddle heights SCREWS. Everything else is original. The nut has been touched up a bit but is original to the guitar. This '66 Jag is finished in Lake Placid Blue though the color has changed a bit over the years to more of a emerald / turquoise green. This is because the clear coat used on the metallic finishes from this era tends to yellow over the years making it almost impossible to tell which color started out as which in some cases. The nice thing about the color change on this guitar is that it is even throughout the guitar with the exception of two thin strips on the back which show a lighter, more original, shade of blue.
