If you grew up in the 60's, then you'll surely remember the classic Country and Western music of the era. I remember riding in my Mom's Dodge Monaco station wagon, listening to the likes of Marty Robbins, Hank Snow, Johnny Cash and of course, Buck Owens. He used to sing, "I've got a tiger by the tail it's plain to see" and I would of course join right in because in my young mind, I, too was a Buckaroo. Skip forward to last week; Lee pulls in a nice gathering of guitars from a private collection and I smiled like a cat eating cold cuts when I saw this guitar. It instantly brought back memories of Buck and those old songs I remember and that is exactly what certain guitars are suppose to do: take you back in time. The memories that come flooding back are always the nice little treats we sometimes get and they're worth every penny we'll ever pay. As to this particular Telecaster, it's in absolute collector quality condition and we just cut the original strings off of it to shoot these photos.
