Fender / Jazzmaster / 1966 / Candy Apple Red / Guitar For Sale
Just in time for the Holidays comes this gorgeous and rare Candy Apple Red Jazzmaster with matching headstock. With its large white pickups and white pickguard, this is a striking guitar. Jazzmaster pickups are made very shallow and wide, giving them a distinctive look but also a nice bright shimmer that’s prized by guitarists who want a lot of detail and punch for lead and rhythm lines. The Candy Apple Red finish on this one has a gold undercoat, as was typical of these finishes in 1966. Aside from some minor checking on the body, there’s almost no finish wear. With nice low action, this one is a great player as well, an outstanding Jazzmaster worth checking out. This one will look great under the tree!

Neck: Maple with bound rosewood fretboard, mother-of-pearl dot inlays. Wider, round profile.
Pickups/Hardware: Two bright, strong Jazzmaster pickups. Typical Jazzmaster electronics and tremolo. White pickguard and pickup covers. Witch hat-style knobs.
Setup/Playability: Very smooth and responsive with lower action. An exceptional player.
Cosmetic Condition: Some checking on body, moderate neck finish wear, but very little in the way of dings or dents.
Modifications: Had different tuners at one time.
