For the player who is looking for the best combination of tradition and modern day innovation, the American Deluxe Precision Bass delivers the good hand over fist. With an impressive amount of tonal versatility for such a simple design, this P Bass boasts a smooth low end, a solid mid range and highs that can be set to step out and punch or lay back and groove. The feel of the body and neck combination is exquisite providing an extremely comfortable playing experience while retaining desirable balance. This bass is for players that know the score and demand the real thing. Item Details This American Deluxe P Bass is made from high quality Ash and sports a Natural gloss finish to show it off. Joined with a maple neck, this combination of tonewoods creates a stellar traditional tone. The neck features a maple fretboard with a 9.5" radius, a modern C profile, 21 medium jumbo frets, dot inlays and a 1.625" nut width. A Deluxe Split Coil P Bass pickup is installed in the middle position and an N# Noiseless Jazz Bass pickup is in the bridge position. Another great feature is the Active/Passive toggle switch and passive master tone control. With these options a wide variety of pickup options are available as well as vintage and more modern tones. Other fine features include a dual loading High Mass Vintage Bridge, bone nut, contoured heel for easy access to the upper frets, rolled fingerboard edges and flat head screws on the battery compartment for easy changes with a coin or a pick. This American Deluxe Precision Bass comes with a molded SKB hard shell case with Fender case candy.
