1973 Fender stratocaster, Sunburst, 3.3kg, HC,
Excellent original first owner 1973 Fender stratocaster, Ashbody, Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard, original Finish throughout, original frets, Frets are low, Original hardware and Plastics, and very attractive weight of 3.3kg, with rare '73 black bottoms, hardly seen but original and sometimes seen on early seventies (mostly '73 guitars). The middle pickup (including cover) is changed for a 'hotter' Dimarzio somewhere in the 80s and so is one of the tone-pots. 3 bolt maple neck, original nut, and saddles, this is quite a rare guitar, with great looks and Mojo, great tone and vibe. And the guitar comes with a nice story: The original owner, back then in 1973/4 15 years old worked the whole summer to safe up for the fl1400,00 Guilders needed to buy this wonderful guitar, He checked every week if the guitar was still hanging in the store window, when he finally got the money he jumped on his bike for 20km trip to Nijmegen to collect the guitar, but on the way a sad thing happened, he lost his tightly in envelope tugged safings. When he came home in tears his dad decided to buy him the Strat afterall... I think he had a great dad and anyone deserves a dad like that! 43mm (1 11/16") width at the nut, 650mm (25 1/2") scale length. With Homemade Case because there wasn't any money left for a original case!
