The tone of this Strat is woody, bright and highly articulate. It nails the Yngwie tone and provides an exciting platform for any player to shred on. Item Details Made in the USA, this Yngwie Malmsteen Artist Series Stratocaster features an Alder body finished in gorgeous Vintage White. The maple neck features a nitrocellulose finish, deeply scalloped rosewood fretboard with a 9.5" radius, dot inlays and a brass nut that helps clearly define the tone of this beast. A set of Seymour Duncan YJM hum-canceling single coil sized pickups adapted perfectly for Yngwie's style of playing. Anyone who appreciates a blend of Rock, Shred, Neo-Classical and Heavy Metal will fall down on their knees and thank the Gods of Tone for these pickups. Other fine appointments on this shredder include; the specially refined 60's shape maple neck, Dunlop 6000 jumbo fretwire, a flush mounted Dunlop Straplok System Strap Retainers, a large 60's style headstock with bullet truss rod and aged pickup covers.
