It's hard to overstate the playability of this guitar - it plays like an absolute dream come true. Any style of Blues, Rock, Country and Jazz play splendidly on this instrument. The feel is heavenly. The neck plays itself and the factory setup is very impressive on this guitar. The action is set between low and medium/low so fast playing is no problem without the worry of any buzzing. Long drawn out bends sustain wonderfully owing to the resonance of this guitar and some excellent fretwork. All the vintage Strat tones you need are present in this model and the tone is very rich and warm. If you want to get down, down on the ground, the Eric Clapton Stratocaster is where it's at. Item Details This Eric Clapton Strat has some terrific features to brag about. First, the body is high quality Alder making for a nicely balanced dry and warm tone. The Maple neck features a soft V profile which makes for great comfort in the first position while not getting in the way of the upper register. A set of Fender Vintage Noiseless Strat pickups deliver all the warmth and clarity of vintage style pickups without the hassle of the accompanying white noise. On top of that, Fender delivers the Master TBX ( Treble Bass Expander ) tone control and the Master Active Mid Boost on the second tone knob. This lets you dial in a huge array of sounds on this one guitar taking your tone from vintage single coil Strat to Gibson ES-335 and back. These controls make this guitar extremely sonically versatile. A blocked American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo simulates the same non-trem setup that Eric Clapton uses as well and increases tuning and intonation stability. Eric believes that blocking the trem also increases sustain, and that the springs, and rout itself, help add a natural acoustic quality that hardtail Stratocasters lack. This Eric Clapton Stratocaster comes with a Fender Tweed Deluxe hard shell case, guitar strap, 1/4" cable, trem arm and limited Lifetime Warranty information.
