Player's Perspective Music Store Live is proud to present this Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster! Guitar God Eric Clapton has affectionately lent his "Slowhand" in creating this amazing instrument. This guitar will scream blues rock from the moment you hit the strings. Demoed through some of our favorite in house tube amps, legendary Clapton tone immediately leaped off this guitar. It covers all the classic strat sounds, and with the custom electronics you get fat, throaty, almost Gibson like sounds. The neck feels rock solid and delivers a snappy but warm tone. This lovely guitar not only pays tribute to one of the greatest blues rockers ever to walk the earth, but it is simply an awesome guitar from top to bottom. Item Details This Eric Clapton Stratocaster is a perfect marriage of both vintage style and modern playability. Many of Clapton's favorite and most useful guitar mods have been incorporated into the design. This particular guitar has a great pewter urethane finish. The vintage style tremelo bridge, chrome hardware, and white pickguard keep it true to the stratocaster's origins. Three vintage noiseless strat pickups eliminate single coil buzz on loud stages while retaining that classic stratocaster tone. Other features such as the master tone control and active mid boost circuit control open up a lot of tonal possibilities for the player. In fact, the active mid boost is one of the features of this guitar that sets it apart from any other strat. It can deliver fat crunchy tweed sounds with the turn of a dial. The neck on this guitar is really something special. It is some of the hardest maple we've seen on a Fender guitar making it incredibly fast and responsive to touch. The vintage style frets are not only very comfortable to play on, but they make it very easy for playing up high on the neck. This Eric Clapton Stratocaster comes in a vintage tweed hard shell case.
