This is really quite a stunning tribute to one of the greatest guitars ever built, but it is not to be confused with some purely nostalgic guitar. This Strat burns the candle just as bright as any top shelf guitar you could find on the market today. It has a righteous tone that Strat lovers will grin wide for every time they plug it in. Perfect for any player who loves the classic tones, without any of the vintage hassles. Item Details This American Vintage '65 Strat is Dakota Red. The 1965 Stratocaster saw the return to a thick C-shaped maple neck, this time with a round-laminated dark rosewood fingerboard and larger pearl dot inlays. It was also the first year for enamel-covered pickup wire. That’s what players will find on this American Vintage ’65 Stratocaster, along with other authentic features including a three-ply white pickguard with 11 holes, a lightweight alder body, aged plastic knobs and vintage-accurate pickups, bridge saddles, tuner spacing and more. It is worth noting that the sparkle and chime that these American Vintage '65 Grey Bottom single coil pickups are putting out really helps to put this guitar in a league all its own. This Strat also features a Fender Flash Coat Finish and a 3 ply white pickguard with vintage accurate bevel. It comes with a deluxe vintage black hard shell case.
