The factory setup is dialed in perfectly - low action, flawless playability and perfect intonation. The tone is surreal - this Strat cranks out deep throaty blues, crispy clean country and surf tones and over the top hard rock shred. For the player who relishes in the tones of early rock and roll to the futurist who's looking to push the envelope, this American Standard is ready to rock. Item Details Finished in enchanting 3 Color Sunburst, this American Standard Stratocaster HSS features an Alder body and a maple neck with a modern C shape. The body has been given a urethane finish, the back of the neck has satin finish and the maple fingerboard has a smooth gloss finish with dot inlays. Two Fender Custom Shop 50's Fat single coil pickups and a Diamondback Humbucker in the bridge setting provide a blend of vintage tones and killer Rock tones. Some more unique features on this model include a 2-point synchronized tremolo with vintage style bent steel saddles and elongated string slots, a copper infused high mass 100% metal bridge block, aged plastic parts and a thin undercoat finish for improved body resonance.
