Fender / Telecaster / 1955 / Blonde / Guitar

Nicely worn in all original '55 Telecaster. Big chunky soft vee (ish) neck that gets rounder as your go up. .92" at the first fret and .97" at the 12th. That's big honkin' neck. Average wear to the fretboard and the frets are good. Huge tone in the bridge pickup which is the earlier flat pole type. The usual in the neck. No mods, no stories, no excuses. Neck date is 5-55. Body date is also 5-55. There is a date on a piece of masking tape in the control cavity that reads 7-12-55-probably the date it was assembled with the first name of the person who wired it (unreadable). Nice original tweed case-the latch springs are shot but everything works. This Tele will hold its own against any black guard and save you a bunch of money in the process (and I like the neck better than the 54 I just sold).

OK Guitars is an online only store in Kent, CT, USA. I ship anywhere If you're looking for a 335/345 or 355 from 1958-1965, I probably have what you're looking for or I know where to find it. I sometimes have later ones that I've taken in trade. I buy and sell more early ES 335s, 345s and 355s than anyone. I also deal in other vintage guitars and amps from the 50's and 60's.

All buyers are given a 48 hour period to try the guitar, inspect the guitar and decide whether to keep the guitar. Buyer will be responsible for the shipping in both directions should you decide to return it. You may return a guitar for any reason at all but only for the first 48 hours. No returns after the approval period has expired. Payment in full is required at time of purchase and guitars will not be shipped until funds have cleared.
