While it lends itself tremendously to country styles, this is a powerful blues rock machine as well AND a killer jazz axe. The playability is truly off the charts. The tone is all tele - the low end is big, tight and woody. The mids are snarling in great way and the highs are rich and spanky - exactly what you'd expect from a high quality telecaster. This beast tears it up every time you pick it up. Perfect for gigging on any stage or recording in any studio you travel to. Item Details This new American Special Telecaster showcases a lot of the traditional features this style guitar is best known for. Made in the US, the alder body has a classic Olympic White paint job with a flawless satin urethane finished neck. The all-maple neck features a 9.5" radius, black dot inlays, 22 jumbo frets for easy bending, and a superb modern C neck profile that's excellent for virtually every style of playing. A vintage-style 3 saddle string-through body bridge anchors things down below, and a set of Fender standard sealed tuning machines keep things locked tight up top. The Texas Special single coil pickups really help this Tele achieve it's sound with hot, bright tones for lead playing and warm meaty sounds from the neck position.
