SOULMAN

This one can be called the ultimate medium power blackface amp. Based on the famous AB763 circuit but with improved components, shorter signal path and with cathode biased 6L6's for 28W pure responsive power. No vibrato but improved reverb instead. This is the circuit that was the base of many succesfull amps such as deluxe reverb, pro reverb, twin, super reverb etc. In their run for more power they only forgot to try that one with cathode biased 6L6 ! Lush singing cleans with slightly harder overdrive. Somewhere in between a deluxe reverb and a twin but much more compact and less weight ...
