Player's Perspective Music Store Live is proud to present this USA G&L ASAT Special Semi-Hollow! This is what you want out of a semi-hollow guitar. A deeply resonant body with rich warm tones without the feedback issues that accompany fully hollow guitars. The ASAT Special absolutely provides that and does so in a guitar that has excellent tone and top shelf playability. The ease and precision of string bends on this axe can't be overstated and the intonation is spot on. The pickups put out a whole lot of tone. The neck position is warm and woody with a very rich and transparent low end. The bridge position wails and packs the tone of a vintage single coil guitar. Mix the two in the middle position and you get something unique and very special sounding. This is a terrific guitar for recording and regular gigging. It's solid, performs flawlessly and always delivers impeccable tone. Item Details This G&L ASAT Special semi-hollow features a Swamp Ash body with twin voice chambers and an elegant looking F hole on the bass side. The neck is hard rock maple and features a medium C-ish profile. The rosewood fretboard is sporting dot inlays, 22 frets, has a nut width of 1 5/8" and a fretboard radius of 12". One of the best features about this guitar is undoubtedly the 2 Jumbo G&L Magnetic Field Design high output single coil pickups. These have individually adjustable pole pieces so you can easily voice them to your liking. G&L's saddle locking bridge with chrome-plated brass saddles locks in your intonation and tuning . Other fine features include a shell pickguard, G&L sealed tuners with adjustable knob tension and a G&G hard shell case. Overall Condition This G&L ASAT Special Semi-Hollow is in pristine MINT condition with absolutely no nicks, scratches, or blemishes of any kind.
