Player's Perspective Music Store Live is proud to present this 1963 Gibson Byrdland! This is an immensely enjoyable guitar! The feel of the neck and body and the TONE of this vintage thinbody are in a class of its own! It can crush any straight jazz session you've got on your calendar with it's full tone, airy top end and nicely rounded bass. Funk and fusion players will love the soulful tones this axe can put out - think Jimmy Nolen from James Brown's band! So hot! If you crank up the gain you can wail like Ted Nugent on this beast. At that volume, of course, feedback can be an issue but not one that can't be overcome. We've made sure this Byrd plays it's best. The neck is straight, the action is low and the intonation is very good. Complex chords ring out in tune everywhere on the neck and this guitar has a lightning quick response to it for lead playing. This is a true gem of guitar history.
