1950 GIBSON Century (BR-2) - in Black / 6-string Lapsteel guitar
Super clean and beautiful 1950 Gibson Century (BR-2) lapsteel guitar in excellent+ condition and all original except for rebuttoned tuners because of shrinking. The Century BR-2 was built during late 1947 till 1951, we dated our BR-2 acording the pot-codes which are stamed 1950 (untouched solderjoints!). Considering it´s black high-gloss finish, it´s sheer unbelievable how clean this lap-steel is! It has the large speed-knobs as found on early ´52 Les Pauls, the original electronic is untouched and works fine. The handrest-covers is crack-free and and has and elongated "G" and curlicue motiv on its top, everything works properly and this early Century just sounds great! Comes in its orig. brown Geib case w/pink lining.
