GIBSON CUSTOM ART HISTORIC 1934 L-5 ARCHTOP REISSUE IN NEAR MINT CONDITION 9,5/10. Only a 1cm ding on the back. Guitar had a only one owner. Proof of buoght from Elderly Inst. on 09/09/2003.
This is a limited edition replica of the first archtop guitar. Made famous by the first jazz guitarist, Eddie Lang and designed by Lloyd Loar, father of the F-5 mandolin. Lloyd Loar brought several innovations to the Gibson product line, including f-hole, longitudinal tone bars, graduated tops and backs, longer playable necks, and resonance tuning. The Historic Reissue 1934 L-5 accurately recreates one of Lloyd Loar's crowning achievements.
