Playing this R4 is very much like handling an old, 50's Junior. It's lightweight at only 7 lbs, 13 oz, it has a nice, full neck and it's actually extreme in its simplicity. One pickup, one volume and one tone knob- that's it and for many years, it's been all countless guitarists have needed to make their statement. We liked it from the instant we laid eyes on it (me especially because it is so clean) and it's unique to the hundreds of other Les Pauls we handle during any one year. The P-90 is aggressive, but well- rounded and the guitar just seems to feel right when you strap it on. Heck, I'm a bass player and it made me look cool for about 3 seconds before I was told to take it off before I put a ding on it.
