Near MINT 1968 Gibson ES-175D in beautiful, unfaded sunburst. Plays like a demon on newish frets and sounds typically Jazzish, rockish and countryish just like the most versatile Gibson archtop model can do...

Stunning condition, all original hardware and electrics with an old case that may be original to it (guitar was sold from new in France). One piece neck, no volute and no breaks or repairs anywhere. Whats not to like...?

I doubt if you will find a finer example of this late, pre Norlin ES-175 and this is probably the finest late 60's ES we have had through here. Plays fantastically well, sounds perfectly balanced and you cannot fail to be impressed by the huge variety of sounds you can get from this amazing guitar. It is a true workhorse.

There is hardly a mark anywhere on this amazing guitar, just a few minor dings that prevent me from describing it as totally mint. Headstock is pretty clean, no buckle rash and new is almost like new. Just have a look at the pictures and you will see what I mean. There are also of course, no breaks or repairs anywhere.

This is one of the last, what many consider to be, true Gibson guitars before they started making the neck out of three pieces, adding volutes etc and it even has the classic dot on the 'i'. Overall a very nice piece and a shining example of Gibson's later golden period.
