Player's Perspective Music Store Live is proud to present this 1962 Gibson ES-330! This 330 is a scorcher! It plays like a bat out of hell and dishes out a ton of powerful tone! The neck pickup is super thick and meaty and the bridge pickup is soulful and clear as the day is long. This 330 is set up very well right now. The neck is straight, the truss rod works fine, the action is set medium / low and the guitar plays in tune in every position. We are all very fond of this 330. The tone is full bodied and the P90's are packing all the vintage punch you could hope for. Check it out! Item Details This 1962 Gibson ES-330 is all original with the exception of the replaced white buttons on the tuners, new frets and a later day Gibson hard shell case ( most likely from the 80's ). This Cherry Red maple hollowbody features dual F-holes and a double cutaway. The mahogany neck features a slim 60's profile, a bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard, small block inlays and the original nylon nut ( 1.66" or 1 20/32" ). The original P90 single coil pickups sound terrific and the pots date to the 47th week of 1962. Other fine features on this axe include a black beveled pickguard, an ABR-1 bridge and trapeze tailpiece and all of the guitars original electronics. The back strap button is plastic while the end pin button is metal. Gibson changed from plastic to metal buttons in '62 so this in not unlikely to see them mismatched like this. This guitar weighs 5.95 pounds. Serial # 74510 Overall Condition This 1962 Gibson ES-330 TDC is in very good plus condition. There are some light finish scratches and the headstock shows a small chip from the bass side corner ( see photos ). The body is in great shape and the frets are excellent. The neck is super clean and smooth along the back. The wear on the headstock is the most significant area of wear on the whole guitar. This is a killer playing vintage 330 that is ready to tackle anything. It has hardly any wear for it's age and it is absolutely going to be increasing in value over the years. This is a solid guitar and a solid investment. Get it while you can!
