Player's Perspective
Music Store Live is proud to present this 1967 Gibson ES-335 TD! If ever there was a guitar that could do it all ( or at least come closest ) I think a lot of us agree it's an ES-335. Here's a stellar looking and playing 335 that is simply oozing vintage feel and impeccable tone. The neck has that worn in crackly finish feel that makes it feel like an absolute vintage treasure. The neck is straight, has the proper amount of relief and the guitar is accurately intonated. Even acoustically this guitar puts out major tone and vibe ( which we always take as a great sign for how it will sound plugged in ). This is an outstanding guitar for Blues, Jazz and Classic Rock and Roll of any variety. Newer Indy Rock and Alternative Rock players will love on this one as well.
Item Details
This 1967 ES-335, finished in Gibson's custom color Sparkling Burgundy, is all original with the exception of bridge which is a no name ABR style repro and the set of replacement Grover tuners. Everything else is original from the Black Beauty capacitors to the pots and the patent number humbucker pickups. The slim 60's neck has the feel of being designed by an ergonomic specialist ( yes, it really is that comfortable ). Other stand out features include a trapeze tailpiece with raised diamond, small block pearloid inlays, a beautiful dark and rich looking bound Indian rosewood fretboard. This axe comes with it's original hard shell case.

Overall Condition
This 1967 Gibson ES-335 is in very good condition. There is checking to the finish but hardly a noteworthy ding to be found on the body. The finish on the back of the neck has worn from years of use. The headstock shows typical rough edge wear. You should be able to see closeup all of the wear in our photos. The frets are original and have been leveled. They show minimal to moderate wear and still play just fine. The hard shell case is still functional but has seen some better days. This is a mean playing and sweet sounding vintage ES-335 in a rare custom color. Collectors will want to snatch this beauty up but players are going to want to wrestle it out of their hands and wail on it every day. So it goes. This is a hot one. Get on it.
