Gibson / ES-350 / 1947 / Dark Burst / Guitar

This is the ultimate earliest example from the very 1st year of the ES-350, its Dark Sunburst finish is nicely  faded w/lots of patina, its single P-90 pickup is like “melted butter” & sounds like Joe Pass meets Wes Montgomery, its 3 piece maple neck has a great feel as its thick profile works well from this period, it has the desirable 1st of the “Script” Gibson logo’d headstocks & groovy fingerboard inlays, all gold hardware, its war-time open back tuning machines still work well & still wear their original tulip buttons, it appears to have a very nice restored tortoise’gard & cool tall clear gold speed knobs, its trapeze tailpiece is faded but not broken as many have been, these are getting scarce & this is the rarest of them all, this one is a great player that is very user friendly, excellent original condition, comes w/its original tweed covered hard case w/the factory stripes used only during this period.
