I just love the top on this guitar; It just speaks to me. Eastern hard rock maple- heck, I even like the sound of the name. I know, there are a lot of Les Pauls to choose from, so why, oh why should you consider this one? Well, I suppose it's like choosing a woman. Are you just going take one that will have you or search for the one YOU want? For me, I'll take Jennifer Anniston and make that in a two- piece please. Yes friends, it's just that simple. This Les Paul '59 Reissue is the Jennifer Anniston of the guitar world. Shapely, fine and sassy when need be. I know your thinking, if only to yourself, "Is this guitar all style and no substance?" The answer to that question is... oh hell no. It's got all the balls you've come to expect from a slab of Mahogany. and from Metallica, to Aldean and all points in between, this guitar surely stands and delivers (and stop calling me Shirley...) 'Elks, do your shopping, go to Ebay, go to Jose's Music Emporium and Dress Barn, do what you have to to find a finer and cheaper priced R9. Go ahead and make my day.
