Player's Perspective Music Store Live is proud to present this 1937 Gibson L 7! We are honored to have this one in the store. This L7 is a joy to play and we are sure it will please collectors as well. The sound is absolutely enchanting. Its body projects very nicely as you might expect and is quite resonant. This is a fine acoustic archtop that retains the qualities that have made it so desirable. Item Details This 1937 Gibson L7 features a 17" wide body, hand carved x-braced solid spruce top, solid figured maple back and sides, three piece maple neck and a Brazilian rosewood fretboard with ornate rectangle enclosed inlays. It also features the very distinctive double-handed vase inlay with 2 curly vines. The top of this guitar may have been given a coat of overspray or it may have just had a heavier original coat. This seventy-six year old guitar is nearly all original, and maintained very well, sporting some newer frets and bone nut.
