Gibson / L-7 / 1938 / Sunburst / Guitar For Sale
Introduced in 1933, the L-7 was designed to be the affordable L-5. This one, made only 5 years after it was introduced, is pure gold. It's in great condition, plays like a dream, and sounds warm! You don't see guitars this old in this good of condition very often...
Body: Spruce top, maple back and sides.
Neck: Mahogany neck with a Brazilian Rosewood Fretboard.
Hardware: Tapeze tailpiece
Setup/Playability: Warm tone, excellent neck
Cosmetic Condition: A few dings here and there, but overall very beautiful.
Modifications: Missing original pickguard. There's an old repair on a crack between the heel and body. The finish has been touched up where the pickguard wore through the finish on the top. The neck has been refretted and the tailpiece has been replaced with a reproduction.
