Player's Perspective Music Store Live is proud to present this 1960 Gibson L-5CES! This is a fine playing L5. It has excellent tone that is very warm and clear. The low end is full and nicely rounded, the mids are smooth and bell-like and the highs are well defined without being too bright. This L-5CES is set up very well right now. The neck is straight, the action is set medium / low and the intonation is dialed in very nice. It should go without saying that this is a phenomenal jazz guitar but it is more than just that. This axe would make a great addition to any home or professional recording studio for its greatness of tone. It would fatten up any recording. I can easily see playing this axe on a soul, blues or funk gig as well as a straight jazz gig. This L5 is both a beauty and a beast.
