Player's Perspective Music Store Live is proud to present this 1975 Gibson Les Paul Custom! This is a fat, nasty, snarling and growling thunder stick that when juiced up to your favorite amp is capable of unleashing rock and roll's most brutal force. Oh, and it's warm enough to play straight jazz on it too if you like. Yes, really. This is a terrific playing LP Custom that's full of character, has great sustain and has a wonderful tone that's capable of cutting any gig. We've made sure the setup is dialed in perfectly for you. The neck is straight, we set the action on the lower side for easy playability, it's well intonated and plays in tune in every position. Hard to ask for anything more from a vintage axe like this. Item Details This rare natural 1975 LP Custom features a pancake mahogany body with a carved and lightly figured maple top. The three piece maple neck has been refinished and features a slim 60's profile, a bound ebony fretboard with large block inlays, a replacement brass nut and 22 frets. The pickups installed currently are a Gibson USA 496R humbucker in the neck and a Seymour Duncan Slash humbucker in the bridge position. This combination yields a warm yet shredtastic pairing that lets this LP Custom cover a huge amount of sonic territory. The pots, caps and selector switch have been replaced on this guitar as have the bridge T-O-M posts. The bridge and tailpiece however are original to the guitar. Other fine features include a black beveled pick guard and replacement Grover Keystone tuners. This LP Custom comes with a replacement black hard shell case.
