1956 Gibson Royaltone V2 - "Sungold" Lap steel guitar
Rare1956 Gibson Royaltone V2 lapsteel guitar in excellent condition for its age. They only built this model from late 1955 to early 1956. The finish is called "Sungold" with London Grey trim, symetrical guitar-like body shape with 1 P-90 pickup with adjustable polepieces. The electronic is original and untouched, two orig. pots for Volume and Tone and a "Grey Tiger" capacitor. The tuners have been changed to Grovers at one time, the original Kluson "3 on a stripe" tuners are back on and work fine, two-tone handrest & bridge-pickup cover. Comes in its original brown "Geib" case.
