1939 Gibson Super 400 - Sunburst inkl. Case.
Nice and clean 1939 Gibson Super 400 in Sunburst in excellent condition for its age. Unbelievable that this guitar is 76 years old, all original except for a prefessional fret-job. The finish shows very little checking and the body is made of beautiful highly flamed maple, the highly flamed 2-piece neckwith its walnut centerstripe is comfortable to play. Besides the backside of the neck, which shows some playwear the guitar is all original and in magnificent condition. Comes including its original brown Geib hardshell case.

  • Handcarved bookmatched solid spruce top,
  • Highly flamed maple back and sides,
  • 2-piece flamed maple-neck with walnut center-stripe,

  • Multi-bound ebony fretboard with MOP split block-inlays and 20 frets,
  • Adjustable bridge w/MOP inlays,

  • Original Kluson "Seal-Fast" tuners,
