This 2004 Gibson Super 400 CES is in mint condition, it has hardly been played at all. It was previously owned by a guitar collector customer of ours, who after a few years of ownership returned it to finance another guitar. The original case and documents are included with the sale.
It is surely an impressive instrument to see and play. As usual with Gibson’s premium guitar the detailing and finish is just great, the multiple bindings, inlays and gold hardware are very stylish. The back, sides and neck are crafted from beautifully flamed maple. The handcarved spruce top has a very regular and straight grain. The neck has a full but not overly thick profile and is shaped very well. Both acoustically and plugged in this is a jazz players dream coming through.
