Gather 'round ye Irish banjoists, ragtimers and tenor players. This is a terrific sounding 1925 ball-bearing Mastertone with its Mahogany neck and resonator and Hearts and flowers inlay pattern. Five string versions of this type of tone ring have long been the favorite of players who play the old time mountain style of Bluegrass like Dr. Ralph Stanley. For those who play tenor style, this four string cuts through the rest of the ensemble like a knife through ice cream (any flavor). A terrific vintage instrument, these don't come by very often, and when they do, they're gone immediately. With hard case.
