With an unmistakable Gretsch sound and phenomenal feel, this Electromatic surpasses expectations in every regard. The factory setup plays great. The action is low, the neck is straight and the intonation is great. The neck plays very smooth and is quite comfortable in every position. While this guitar looks and plays great, the tone is the real show-stopper. Thick and wooly, gritty and cutting, this beast is milkshake-thick and super creamy sounding. It will crush any Country, Rockabilly, Blues Rock gig or recording session you go to. Who says you have to pay thousands of dollars to have a honky tonking battleaxe that rips? You don't! Item Details Featuring that classic Country Gentleman body style and laminated maple top, back and sides, the G5122DC has plenty to offer even the most discerning player. Dual F-holes on the top help frame the look of this double cutaway. White binding on the neck and body work with the silver plexi pick guard to make the guitar really "pop" visually as well. Getting to the heart of things, the Gretsch dual-coil humbuckers combined with a rosewood based Adjust-o-Matic bridge and Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece help deliver all the classic Grestch tone you need. Other fine features include vintage style chrome plated tuners, a rosewood fretboard with neo-classic thumbnail inlays and pearloid Gretsch headstock inlay. This G5122DC comes with a Gretsch soft shell case.
