This Double Jet offers unmistakable Gretsch feel and tone at a more than affordable price. These guitars have been valued for so long because of the range of their sound. The tonal spectrum on this instrument is enormous. Clean, you can get your twang on or roll off the tone for dark jazz sound. With some grit, this guitar really growls. The mids get throaty and punchy, creating a perfect blues machine. The neck is comfortable - wailing is just as easy as complex chording. A perfect guitar for gigging and practicing, it'll work for rock, country, blues, jazz and everything in between. Item Details This Electromatic Double Jet features a chambered basswood body with an arched maple top. The body chambering provides warmth and the maple adds a bright, snappy edge. The maple neck has a rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid hump-block inlays. Two Black Top Filter'Tron pickups pump out serious Gretsch tone, and they respond equally well through clean and distorted amp settings. Other features include a Bigsby Licensed B50 Vibrato Tailpiece, anchored Adjusto-Matic bridge, and enclosed vintage-style tuners. With appointments like these, this guitar should cost way more.
