The Tennessee Rose is a high-octane country blues-rock machine that knows no bounds. The feel is super comfortable, as well as fast, and not without a touch of the mean and nasty. The action is low, the neck is straight, the intonation is dialed right on, strings bend effortlessly and notes sustain for days on end. Chordal playing with Bigsby feathering never sounded so good. You can produce a lot of different tones from this axe and it would play and sound great for any blues, country, jazz or rock gig or recording session. This Tennessee Rose is aces all the way. Item Details Tons of classic Gretsch features are present in this Burgundy Stain Tennessee Rose. A laminated arched maple top and laminated maple sides and back are joined to a maple neck. The top has bound, oversized f-holes and the whole body has a gloss urethane finish. The bound ebony fretboard has 22 frets and neo-classic thumbnail markers. A pair of Gretsch Hilo Tron pickups are spitting out righteous tones in every configuration. These are a lower output pickups that have an enchanting brightness to them that pairs perfectly with a hollowbody like this. The Bigsby B6C Vibrato tail piece lets you feather chords and leads, alike, for killer country swagger. The ebony-based Rocking-Bar Bridge and Grover Sta-Tite die cast tuners keep everything in check for rock solid tuning. Other standout features include a zero fret, simulated F-holes and a silver plexi pickguard with embossed Chet Atkins signature. This Tennessee Rose comes with a Gretsch Deluxe hard shell case.
