Listen up all you Stray Cats fans - this axe is made to Brian's exact standards and it rocks hard. The playability and tone are exceptional. Clean, this guitar has a warm, crisp sound that is easily customized with the tone control. Distorted, the mids thicken up and growl. The neck is smooth and fast, and the hollow body construction makes the guitar light enough to play for hours on end. You can shred everything from blues, rockabilly and country to western swing and straight jazz on this beefed up hollow body. It is set up very well right now and plays wonderfully in every position. Setzer fan or not, this guitar will give you everything you need in a good hollow body and a bit more. Item Details This G6120SSUGR features laminated flame maple on the top, back and sides. The green finish really highlights the depth of the wood, showing off all of its fluid contours and gentle curves. The neck is also made of maple, and it has a bound ebony fretboard with 22 frets. All of the maple on this guitar gives it a crisp "snappiness" that gets balanced out by the rounded warmth of the hollow body construction. The TV Jones Classic pickups do a great job of interpreting your tone. They can put out sparkly or dark clean tones and fat, snarling distorted sounds with equal ease. The pinned rosewood-based Adjusto-Matic bridge is a great feature - you won't have to worry about the bridge moving and messing up the intonation. The deluxe Sperzel locking tuners will keep this guitar in tune even after you abuse the strings with the Bigsby B6CB Vibrato Tailpiece. Other features include white dice control knobs, 1959 trestle style bracing, a Delrin nut and a gold plexi pickguard with Brian's signature.
