This F-130 CE is everything you could hope for in an acoustic guitar, and it sounds way better than it should, given the price. The tone is crisp and warm, the body projects well enough to fill a room with sound, and the feel is even and consistent up and down the neck. This is one of those guitars on which you can really "hear the wood" in the tone. Some acoustic guitars four times the price of this one can't claim as much. The on-board pickup system amplifies these subtleties without sacrificing any dimensions of the tone. As this guitar ages, it's going to mature tonally into an even richer, fuller sound. This is one of the best acoustic deals we've seen in a long time. Item Details This orchestra-style F-130 CE features a solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, and scalloped spruce bracing. The neck is also made of mahogany, and the fingerboard and bridge are rosewood. All of these great tonewoods make for a clear, balanced guitar that projects incredibly well. The 1 3/4 inch nut is wide enough for advanced fingerpickers, but will keep strummers happy as well. The Nu-Bone nut and saddle make for tuning stability and precision - you won't get those annoying pops and clicks when tuning. The slim profile neck is comfortable everywhere and doesn't get in the way of your playing. With the on-board Fishman Sonitone pickup, amplifying this guitar is easy. The single-cut allows for easy upper fret access. Other features include a 25 1/2" scale length, vintage style open-back tuners, nickel hardware and black/cream/black purfling. This is a consistent, balanced acoustic guitar that could easily cost twice as much and will age wonderfully.
