This F-130R is everything you could hope for in an acoustic guitar, and it sounds way better than it should, given the price. The tone is crisp and warm, the body projects well enough to fill a room with sound, and the feel is even and consistent up and down the neck. This is one of those guitars on which you can really "hear the wood" in the tone. Some acoustic guitars four times the price of this one can't claim as much. As this guitar ages, it's going to mature tonally into an even richer, fuller sound. This is one of the best acoustic deals we've seen in a long time. Item Details This orchestra-style F-130R features a solid spruce top and and scalloped spruce bracing. The rosewood back and sides make for a richer, more complex sound. The neck is made of mahogany, and the fingerboard and bridge are rosewood. All of these great tonewoods create a clear, balanced guitar that projects incredibly well. The 1 3/4 inch nut is wide enough for advanced fingerpickers, but will keep strummers happy as well. The Nu-Bone nut and saddle give you tuning stability and precision - you won't get those annoying pops and clicks when tuning. The slim profile neck is comfortable everywhere and doesn't get in the way of your playing. Other features include a 25 1/2" scale length, vintage style open-back tuners, nickel hardware and black/cream/black purfling. This is a consistent, balanced acoustic guitar that could easily cost twice as much and will age wonderfully.
