Music Store Live is proud to present this Guild Grand Orchestra F-47RC! This is a brazen and bold sounding acoustic guitar and the volume it puts out is HUGE! The sound is tremendous from low to high with each band of equalization having its own distinct flavor of fullness. The lows are round and smooth, holding up very well even to heavy handed rhythm playing. The mids are very rich with an evenness that will lend itself very well to recording. The highs are well defined, crisp and easy on the ears. This guitar exudes comfort and easy playability. The neck is full and smooth feeling in every position. It responds well to different attacks and the guitar as a whole is very resonant. Plugged in you will find even more to be happy about. This is one of the best on board pick up systems we have heard at Music Store Live. Guild has done a great job with the F-47RC!
The F-47RC has a lot of features to brag about. Starting with the basics, this grand orchestra body design employs a solid Red Spruce top joined to solid Rosewood sides and back. The added depth of the grand orchestra body design helps add to this guitars superb volume, tone and articulation. A three piece mahogany / walnut / mahogany neck features a full profile, bound rosewood fretboard and mother of pearl block inlays. The D-TAR Wave-Length™ Multi-Source™ pickup system, also used by Martin guitars, is an excellent on board system that delivers exceptional tone in an easy to use package ( *more on that below ). Other standout features on the F-47RC include dual-action truss rods, nickel played hardware, a rosewood bridge and a 16" lower bout. The F47-RC comes with a premium Guild hard shell case.
