It's one of the loudest, most projective acoustic guitars we've had the pleasure of playing. The tone is equally impressive - clear, warm and rich. There is a powerful and smooth low end. The mid range is clear and well pronounced, and the high end is shimmery and articulate. For a guitar that puts out so much sound, this guitar is very well balanced. As for feel, this F-50 Standard is in its own luxury class. The neck finish and profile make for very comfortable playing everywhere, whether you're fingerpicking through a ballad or picking out some fast bluegrass leads. Single notes really jump off the board, and chords explode off the neck and fade out to reveal rich harmonic overtones. With its jumbo body size, this tonally balanced guitar represents the biggest and best of Guild. Item Details This Blonde F-50 Standard has a solid Sitka spruce top, maple sides, an arched laminated maple back, and scalloped red spruce bracing. The grain in all of the wood is rich, defined, and consistent. The neck is made of mahogany, and the fingerboard is rosewood. The jumbo body makes this guitar a blast to play - the whole thing vibrates as you navigate the neck, letting you really feel the music as much as you hear it. The Gotoh Die-Cast tuners along with the bone nut and saddle create tuning stability and precision - you won't get those annoying pops and clicks when tuning, and everything will hold very well. Other features on this guitar include a 25.625" scale length, chrome hardware, bone bridge pins, and ivoroid body binding. The Guild F-50 is one of the biggest acoustic guitars we have, and the tone, playability, and features all hold up to its size.
