House Guitars / Baritone / Guitar For Sale
Baritone guitars have opened up new tonal possibilities that are not available on a standard scale instrument. The longer scale lengths used on baritone guitars allow them to be tuned down and still maintain the string tension needed to sound good an play properly. My version is built on the Grand Auditorium body shape and has a 27.5" scale. It can be set up for a variety of different tunings and string tensions. For a 27.5" scale many people choose to tune it C-C or C#-C# with Heavy strings.

House Guitars, Canada
My
passion for building guitars has grown out of my love for the instrument. I
picked up my first guitar when I was 15 and never looked back. My interest in
building came from seeing the custom guitars that many of my favourite
musicians were playing. It had never occurred to me that someone could build
their own guitar. In 2003, I took a building course with world-renowned luthier
Sergei de Jonge, then returned home to continue honing my skills through
self-study.
I started House Guitars with the purpose of building custom acoustic guitars of
the highest quality. My guitars are built in a climate-controlled workshop
using the finest materials available. I offer a wide variety of woods and
custom options which allow me to tailor each guitar to the customer's specific
needs. Whether you are a professional guitarist or someone who enjoys playing a
fine guitar, I encourage you to consider one of my instruments.
Here you will find information about my guitars. Take a browse through the
photo gallery to view some of my previous work, or to see the guitars
that are in progress. You can also take a look at what I currently have
for sale. Please contact me if you have any questions or are looking for
additional information. I am located in Goderich, Ontario.
