Fingers in the Wind
Bronze. Height 6 inches.
I have wanted to do a flutist for years, but could not think of a good, sculptural way to compose it. Finally I realized that my mentor's, Walter Driesback's, long, thin, approach would be perfect. I like the elongated "W," formed by the arms. It is great fun to turn this piece in your hand and see how the forms (arms, torso, et cetera) relate to one another as your angle of view changes. The empty spaces are as much part of the piece as the solid forms. I want to do this form about twelve feet tall, so you can walk through and around it in order to appreciate the forms.

Payment:
First call, email, or fax to confirm that the instrument is still available. We conduct all transactions through Bank Transfer of U.S. funds, cashier's checks, or Visa/MC payment.
Shipping:
We ship domestically and internationally via FedEx and UPS. The customer is responsible for all shipping, insuring and any associated bank charges, including any returned merchandise.
Returns:
Upon receipt, the customer has 3 days to review the instrument. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, notify us within 72 hours of receipt and we will refund the cost of the merchandise as soon as it is returned to us in the same condition as when shipped.
